Pressed Flower Art

Hi, Iā€™m Kate!

Iā€™m a sustainable florist turned flower presser dedicated to preserving natureā€™s beauty. I teach people how to press flowers and create stunning art pieces while also offering custom commissions, specializing in preserving bridal bouquets. I also make and sell my own line of seasonal floral prints and flower presses.

My mission is to bring back the nostalgia and hope that pressing flowers offers and the opportunity it gives us to slow down and reconnect through this sustainable and artistic practice.

THE PRESSED FLOWER SHOP

Flower presses, seasonal pressed flower art and stationary.

Commission us to create an original sustainably conscious pressed floral art piece.

We use flowers from weddings, memorials, personal gardens or special events to create long lasting memories.

Digitization of your pressed work extends the pieces use into digital options such as custom stationary, community art, branding , and bespoke eco-marketing.

Want to make art from your flowers?

Welcome to the Flower Story

Blooming with purposeā€¦

I know a lot about flowers.

I've spent the past decade as an organic urban flower grower and sustainable florist.

I know how flowers move and live and inspire.

The essence of my work is to promote the slow arts, create change through beauty, connect with nature and celebrate the aliveness of now.

My work has led me to The August Press - a professional flower press company that carries the essence of hope from your garden or flower farm and creates an artists pallet from nature.

I also offer community workshops in garden flower pressing and sell my pressed floral prints and fine botanical art.

Join me in the slow art of celebrating beautiful things.
